First of all we would meet for a free initial consultation, which gives us the chance to
  • Get to know each other
  • Look at your past and current sport and fitness interests and experiences
  • Discuss your lifestyle and eating habits
  • Find out your health and fitness goals and talk about how personal training may help
  • Fill in a health questionnaire and discuss any relevant factors that would need to be taken into consideration. I am a professional certified master trainer with over 10 years experience and have advanced qualifications in both Pre and Post Natal training, plus a Diploma in Exercise and Nutritional interventions for Obesity and Diabetes (Click here for full list of qualifications)
  • Next, we can try out some exercises and training ideasusing the latest in functional fitness, including, TRX Suspension Trainer, Kettlebells, Boxing, Bosu, Clubbells, Cable Machine, TRX Rip Trainer, Powerbags, Power Plate Acceleration Training and moreā€¦
Your Fitness Journey
The next step is to clearly define your goals using SMART (Specific, Measureable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound).
You can take this away and fill in ready for your first training session.

This session will take approx 15 minutes longer than your following sessions as we shall look at your fitness statistics from weight, hydration levels, body fat %, muscle mass %, BP, Resting HR, lung function, plus leg, core and upper-body strength, flexibility and balance.

Now we know where we are, we can plan a realistic timetable, planning short, medium and long term goals, taking into account your lifestyle and current commitments.

By the end of every session, my aim is to get you feeling energized and inspired to get you in a totally positive frame of mind to face the challenges of the rest of the day.

On top of your personal training sessions, you will have your home or gym training plan, complete with illustrations, a food, mood and training diary to fill in, plus on-going support and advice by phone, text and email.
